When I shoot event photography, be it at a wedding, a play, or any other event, I prefer to be a causal observer looking on, trying to capture quiet and/or powerful moments. My talent lies in capturing these moments many other photographers miss. I choose to try and stray away from the standard posed and looking directly at the camera shots, and utilize longer lenses, and more discrete interactions. The event is about the people involved in it, and the camera shouldn't play a part other than to capture those people's memories.
