Portraiture is a newer venture in my photographic journey, despite my 20 years of photographic experience, I have tended to stray away from the traditional. Even when shooting people, be it unique senior photos (as seen above) or promotional shots for events  or plays, I still like to stray away from a more clichéd approach, and tackle photographs of people in the same manner in which I tackle many of my other subjects. Utilizing natural surroundings, or painstaking detail to arranged sets, I like to play off natural light as much as possible, trying to capture moments, facial expressions, etc. It's my goal to make it so the subject feels almost like there is not a camera there, and that they are not posing, but simply
