After a combined eleven years working in photo labs, split between the film dominated era in the 1990s and in the digital dominated era of the last 10 years, I have learned a great deal about the business of printing. It has always been a dream of mine to create a photo and fine art printing and creating lab that would be designed around artists and individuals that want a more quality experience in their printing and processing lab. Both amateur and professional, I seek to create a better connection between the creator and the printer. In the days past when photographers would work with darkrooms to print their images, there was a connection that kept them close, and made sure the artist would get what he or she needed. I have been an artist all my life and photographer for the past 20 years, this combined with the experience of working in labs has me confident that I can create that sort of connection between the artist and a fellow artist, who will make sure that the work is created to the best quality. I print using the Epson 9900, a printer utilizing Epson's HDR inks with 200 year lightfastness. I currently print on the following papers:

Epson Cold Press Bright Fine Art Paper – $15 a square foot

Hahnemühle German Etching – $15 a square foot

Hahnemühle Photo Rag 188gsm – $12 a square foot

Canon Polypropylene  – $7 a square foot

Currently the business is by appointment only. I work out of my home studio in Hatfield and am happy to make an appointment for you to come by, or if need be, come to you for an additional charge.
